Parkinson’s Disease is a neurodegenerative disease that affects the dopaminergic neurons, or the dopamine-producing cells within the brain. According to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, approximately 60,000 people a year develop this condition. Symptoms for people with Parkinson’s often include motor and muscle disturbances that substantially affect one’s quality of life. There are several types of therapies available for individuals living with Parkinson’s Disease, including prescription medication, nutritional supplementation, and certain types of movement therapies.

Our own experience treating Parkinson’s Disease patients with intravenous–and also with intranasal–BR+NAD® has produced some wonderful results. Symptoms have been reversed after only three days of treatment and this progress has been maintained with monthly maintenance boosters. While BR+ NAD® is not a cure for Parkinson’s Disease, evidence suggests that it helps support brain and neuronal health. See the impact our treatment has made on one Parkinson’s patient here. To see if you are a good candidate for Parkinson’s brain restoration through intravenous or intranasal BR+ NAD®, please contact Springfield Wellness Center.

Understanding Parkinson’s Disease

Parkinson’s affects individuals of all ages and backgrounds and can enormously impact their lives and those around them. A progressive neurological disorder that affects the central nervous system, Parkinson’s symptoms include tremors, stiffness, slow movement, and difficulty with balance, walking, speech, and activities of daily living, such as dressing or eating with a fork. In addition to physical symptoms, people with Parkinson’s may also experience cognitive changes, such as memory and thinking problems. Although the cause of the disease is unknown, it is believed to be related to a combination of genetic and environmental factors.

Research shows a relationship between the types of degeneration found in Parkinson’s disease and the depletion of NAD+ levels, which normally decline with age. Although there is no cure for Parkinson’s, clinicians at Springfield Wellness Center and our associates at NAD Research, Inc. (www.nadresearch.org) have developed both intravenous and intranasal NAD+ administration protocols for treating the symptoms associated with Parkinson’s disease.
