Wellness Technologies for Enhanced NAD+ Response

As the NAD+ authority in the United States, Springfield Wellness Center has also discovered wellness technologies that are able to work synergistically to boost the effectiveness of NAD+ supplementation. These treatments include:

Infrared Light Therapy (Photobiomodulation Therapy)

Studies show that, together with NAD+, infrared light therapy will activate enzymes, support mitochondrial function, and stimulate, heal, and regenerate injured tissue, including diabetic wounds and sun damaged skin. Infrared light therapy also provides a relaxing, contemplative time for body and mind.

“RLT has been shown to augment tissue repair, promote regeneration and skin rejuvenation, and boost the production of hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastin.” — The Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology

Red light therapy has been FDA-approved for:

  • Reversal of sun or UV damage to the skin
  • Wound healing
  • Increased circulation
  • Reducing pain and inflammation including joint pain
  • Treatment of acne
  • Reducing the appearance of wrinkles, pigmentation spots, stretch marks, and/or scarring
  • Skin rejuvenation, restoration, oxygenation, and/or hydration
  • Collagen production
  • Supporting skin structure, elasticity, and metabolism

Red light therapy is also indicated for:

  • Weight loss and fat reduction
  • Improved athletic performance
  • Increased testosterone production
  • Better thyroid health
  • Reduced depression and anxiety
  • Better sleep
  • Improved mood

Cool Laser Therapy for Smoking Cessation and Pain Management

In addition to red light therapy, Springfield Wellness Center offers the Theralase® cool laser therapy, which works like acupuncture without the needles. A form of photobiomodulation, cool laser therapy is good for pain management and as an aid in smoking cessation: three treatments over the course of six days can stop the cravings, enabling you to quit smoking with ease.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment (HBOT) for Brain and Skin Rejuvenation

HBOT treatment involves breathing concentrated oxygen in a pressurized chamber. Best known as a treatment for decompression sickness and wound healing, HBOT reduces inflammation, fights infection, and increases energy levels. It also promotes healing throughout the body— especially the brain, which represents only 2% of the body’s weight yet consumes 20% of its oxygen intake—and the skin. HBOT is particularly indicated for brain restoration from addiction, chemo fog or COVID fog, CTE, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and traumatic brain injury (TBI).

HBOT benefits include:

  • Increased oxygen concentration in the tissues, helping them resist infection, while improving the ability of white blood cells to find and destroy invaders.
  • Increased formation of new collagen and new skin cells.

HBOT benefits brain injury patients by:

  • Improving sensation and language function
  • Boosting movement and cerebral blood flow
  • Improving cognition
  • Reducing headaches, fatigue, depression, and anxiety

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy Speeds Healing

PEMF therapy is a soothing, restorative healing modality that utilizes non-ionizing electromag- netic fields for pain management and overall cell rejuvenation. The FDA has approved PEMF treatment for various conditions, including certain types of slow-healing bone fractures and untreatable brain tumors. These energy waves work with your body’s natural magnetic fields to speed up recovery, improve well-being and restore optimal cell-function.

PEMF therapy can help reverse the damage caused by the higher EMF radiation that is all around us and can lead to:

  • Hypertension
  • Inflammation
  • Radiation damage
  • Cell death
  • Cancer
  • Poor sleep
  • DNA damage
  • Hormone imbalance
  • Free radical damage
  • Poor metabolism

Shake Plate (Whole-Body Vibration)

The shake plate delivers whole-body vibration (WBV), transmitting energy to your body and forcing your muscles to contract and relax dozens of times a second. Studies have found that WBV can be an effective means to increase bone mineral density in postmenopausal women, as well as to boost levels of growth hormone, parathyroid hormone, and testosterone, which may prevent sarcopenia and osteoporosis. Finally, because the vibrations cause reflexive muscle contractions, WBV training stimulates muscle and bone growth.

Muscle contractions strengthen muscles, and stronger muscles pull harder on bones, strengthening them. Advocates say that as little as 15 minutes a day of WBV three times a week also burns fat, aids weight loss, improves flexibility, enhances blood flow, reduces exercise-related muscle soreness, and decreases the stress hormone cortisol. WBV is especially beneficial for people with mobility issues who may find other forms of exercise difficult.
